MINTROCKET has revealed a new update for DAVE THE DIVER. The unique indie title will add a collab with Godzilla on May 23, 2024.
However, this is a time-limited event and will only be available until November 23. After that, it’ll be delisted according to a PlayStation Blog post footnote.
In Dave the Diver, we take the role of a sushi restaurant owner who goes diving to search for fish. On top of the pile of weird things that happen in his life, we now get Godzilla terrorizing the Blue Hole.
The Godzilla appearance seems to start a questline, which includes the appearance of the military organization G-Force looking for the wounded Godzilla. After that, Dave will meet Godzilla himself and end up fighting against Ebirah, a kaiju from the 1966 live-action.
