Gameloft has dropped a video for Disney Dreamlight Valley, showcasing things to come with the game. From new characters to meet and interact with, to biomes to discover and explore, and to Expansion Pass contents to anticipate, there is plenty in store in this converging world of Disney IPs.
First on the list is the entry of the Pumpkin King himself, Jack Skellington, which coincides with the eighth major update of the game. Disney’s Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas is a mixed bag about its offerings. But the biome that hints at this arrival will be certainly moody.
Another interesting feature that the developers at Montreal are cooking for Valley is the upcoming multiplayer feature. This means that, for the first time, up to three friends can check out the player’s valley. More is said to come with this cool new feature as the developers continue to improve on it.
We’ve heard earlier how Gameloft has decided to rescind its initial decision to make Disney Dreamlight Valley free-to-play. When the game officially launches on December 5, 2023, players can expect some paid expansions to get a broader experience with it. Namely, the Ancient’s Landing, the Glittering Dunes, and the Wild Tangle, which not only introduce new characters but also their respective biomes as well.
There is more in store going beyond December 5, which should give fans something to keep their interest for very long.
Lastly, as part of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s anniversary live stream, players can claim some freebies by redeeming the codes via the game’s Help section:
