Bandai Namco has shared a new trailer for DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO. Titled “Power VS Speed”, the trailer showcases 11 new characters that will be added to the roster of the game.
Among the 11 confirmed characters, we have:
- Burter
- Dyspo
- Hit
- Jeice
- Kakunsa
- Master Roshi, Max Power
- Nappa
- Super Saiyan Broly (Full Power)
- Super Saiyan Kale (Berserk)
- Super Trunks
- Toppo
Furthermore, the developers have also shared a 13-minute long gameplay showcase video, which showcases several of the unique gameplay features that Sparking! Zero will bring to the table.
According to Jun Furatami, the producer of the game, one of the biggest changes to Sparking! Zero is the normal movement, which was made to be as fast as the dash in the previous title, and with the press of a button, you can dash at a lightning speed.
Furthermore, ‘Super Perception,’ a counter command that lets you counterattack in anticipation of various attacks—even Ki Wave types of blasts. Both can only be triggered when you have enough ‘Skill Count,’ and this new element expands the choices you have in the fight and makes the game more fun, while enjoying the distinctive elements from Dragon Ball.
Lastly, a new action using Ki called ‘Vanishing Assaults’ allows you to approach an opponent instantly and swoop in.
DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is a new fighting game in the Budokai Tenkaichi series. Developer Spike Chunsoft and publisher Bandai Namco promise high-speed 3D battles and explosive combos.
