All of EA’s FIFA games, up to and including FIFA 23, have now vanished from key digital outlets such as the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. While FIFA 23 remains accessible via EA Play, microtransactions persist through FIFA 22, albeit with the rebranded name FUT 22.
This sweeping move appears to stem from EA’s recent loss of the “FIFA” license. Earlier reports highlighted FIFA’s $1 billion licensing demand from EA for the impending launch of EA SPORTS FC™ 24, an offer which EA chose to decline.
