Koei Tecmo has started distributing a demo edition of Fate/Samurai Remnant. This free trial allows players to test the game by playing the early stages and carry over their save to the full game later.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is an action RPG based on the popular IP Fate. Despite also being part of the same universe, it tells an original story that doesn’t depend on knowledge of the rest of the series.
The game follows the story of the Waxing Moon Ritual, an alternate version of the Holy Grail War. In it, masters and servants fight for the chance of having a wish granted.
The main character, Miyamoto Iori, is a ronin who ends up joining the fight alongside a Saber servant. However, players will also get a chance to play with the other members of the cast during specific segments.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is available on PS4 and PS5, and both systems can play the demo.
