Fate/Samurai Remnant just got a new update from developer Omega Force and publisher Koei Tecmo, bringing two new difficulty levels and playable Servants via Battle Recollections as added features.
As soon as players update to version 1.0.3, they will automatically be able to choose among a greater number of difficulty options in the game. Specifically, there will be the “Apprentice” and the “Fatal Sword” difficulty levels.
As the label suggests, the Apprentice difficulty makes the game easier for the player by reducing the enemies’ HP and attack as well as extending their knocked-down time. Meanwhile, Fatal Sword makes the game a little harder by boosting the opponents’ HP and attack in addition to cutting off retries and use of items mid-battle.
Making for a first, players can now also control other Servants, thanks to the rollout of Battle Recollections. Through this mode, players will be able to select from several Servants, including Rogue Servants, such as:
- Archer
- Rogue Archer (Arjuna)
- Berseker (Miyamoto Musashi)
- Rogue Berserker
- Lancer
- Rogue Lancer (Cu Chulainn)
- Assassin
- Rogue Assassin (Li Shuwen)
- Rogue Caster (Circe)
Meanwhile, Koei Tecmo published an article showcasing an interview with Kinoko Nasu, Hikaru Sakurai, and Takashi Takeuchi concerning the protagonistic servant Saber. To get up-to-speed on the subject, go check it out.
