Square Enix has recently announced that the Final Fantasy I-VI Pixel Remaster Collection physical copy will be released to retailers and the Square Enix Store starting from October 8 in North America and Europe. In North America, this collection will be priced at $74,99.
This physical copy was previously exclusive to the Square Enix Store, where it sold out almost instantly, and was very limited in its availability. But now, fans can grab a copy with this wider-scale retail release.
What Are the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters?
Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster refers to the first six games that have been updated with beautiful new 2D pixel graphics designed to look great on high-definition displays, rearranged soundtracks overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu and improved gameplay features, including modernized user interface, auto-battle options and more.
Sometimes you just want to explore in peace, so a feature in the Pixel Remaster games lets you turn off random encounters completely. This means you can roam the world without being harassed by monsters…at the cost of EXP. Furthermore, you can choose between two different fonts in this release.
