At the end of the State of Play of January 31, 2024, Sony announced a new presentation for February 6 3:30pm PT / 11:30pm GMT. It will focus on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, which is the next big release on PlayStation 5.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the second part of the remake trilogy for the classic Square Enix RPG. It’s coming exclusively to Sony’s current-gen system on February 29, 2024.
Final Fantasy VII is one of the biggest classics of the RPG genre. It tells the story of Cloud Strife and other individuals who end up in a journey to save the planet and find an ex-hero called Sephiroth.
The first remake part covered the story in the big town of Midgar. Now out in the open world, we’ll have a vast area to explore as the group searches for Sephiroth.
