Square Enix has recently announced that their 4v4 online shooter will be entering its ninth content season entitled Soulful Hour, which will begin on November 7. A new trailer showcasing what the season has to offer was also released.
Foamstars – Soulful Hour Additions
In this new season, a new stage will be added to the Smash the Star mode. It’s the Golden Glow Villa, inspired on a vacation villa by the sunset. Players will need to be keen of the stage’s upper and bottom halves to properly take over their opponents.
Furthermore, a new raid boss, the Ramzey of Clubs, will be added to the Squad Missions mode, and in the Extreme Party mode, three rotating game rules will be returning: the Everyone is Invisible party, the Overlap-OK rule set which allows players to pick the same character, and the Skill Shuffle Party, where all skills are randomized.
Lastly, the new season also comes with the addition of new seasonal skins just in time for summer and some especially Halloween-esque skins, just in time for today’s date. While it’s still a mystery as to why we’re going to a summer villa when it’s already autumn, we’ve elected to not just think too hard about it.
