Nippon Ichi Software has announced a sequel to their travel adventure game series Fuuraiki. The fifth game in the series will be released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on July 31st, 2025 in Japan, priced at ¥7200.
About Fuuraiki
If you’re unaware, Fuuraiki is an adventure game series where the player travels by motorcycle through real-life images and videos of landscapes, visiting famous locations and gathering information. The protagonist is a reportage writer for a travel magazine, traveling to various places to gather information and create articles introducing the charm of each location. The first game was released for the PlayStation 1, the second on PlayStation 2, the third on PlayStation Vita, and the fourth game on PlayStation 4.

Ride to your destination by motorcycle in Touring Mode, gather information and search for article-worthy stories in Adventure Mode, then return to camp and write an article summarizing the appeal of each place in Camp Mode. By repeating this cycle, you can learn more about the places you visit while feeling as though you’re actually on a journey.
One of the main appeals of the series is its use of real 360-degree video footage. The Fuuraiki series allows for full control of the camera view, allowing you to enjoy the scenery as if you were actually riding, providing an overwhelmingly immersive experience.
