Part of the glory that comes with playing a competitive game is the ability to express oneself with others, often through visual presentations. In Namco Bandai’s latest flagship title, My Hero Ultra Rumble, the idea is no exception.
In this guide, we will breeze you into how you could customize your hero in a way that expresses your individuality to others—at least, to a certain extent.
Unlocking skins
Before you could have the liberty to equip your avatar with a certain outfit, an alternative skin must first be available. Customization items, such as a costume, can be gotten in one of two ways. Randomly via the gacha mechanic Plus Ultra Roll with Roll Tickets or via something more definitive such as by using Gold Coins.
Roll Tickets can be acquired by completing missions or by buying them using Hero Crystals, which is an in-game currency that can be bought using real money. Likewise, Gold Coins can also be obtained by completing missions or buying them with cash.
Upon getting a skin, equipping it would be as simple as heading to the Character Customization option and choosing the costume of your choosing.
Why Customize?
Skins, in-game, are pure cosmetics and do not affect the player’s stats in any way. Despite this, though, unique aesthetics do have a unique appeal to them, which makes playing the game more involving and engaging.
