HoYoverse today announced during the Special Program that Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 2.4 update, titled “Finest Duel Under the Pristine Blue”, will arrive on July 31, 2024 on PlayStation 5.

Honkai: Star Rail New Area: The Shackling Prison
Overseen by the Ten-Lords Commission, the Shackling Prison serves as the workplace for Xueyi and Hanya, where it detains the realm’s most notorious criminals. Its cold, imposing entrance lies hidden beneath the waters of Scalegorge Waterscape, adding an extra layer of mystery. Just what awaits the Trailblazer in this prison?
Honkai: Star Rail New Characters: Yunli and Jiaoqiu
Players will get to meet two new characters, Yunli and Jiaoqiu, in this version update of Honkai: Star Rail.
Yunli is a Physical-Type character following the Path of Destruction. Her unique Counter ability makes it so when attacked, she immediately Counters, dealing damage to the target and adjacent enemies.
Furthermore, after using her Ultimate, Yunli acquires the Parry state, reducing damage taken and Taunting all enemies. Her CRIT DMG is also drastically increased under this state, and her ordinary Counter is upgraded to a Powerful Counter, dealing higher damage.
Next up we have Jiaoqiu, a Fire-Type character on the Path of Nihility. Any attack lands has a possibility to inflict Ashen Roast debuff, causing them to suffer damage from the Burn state. As Ashen Roast stacks grow, the amount of damage enemies suffer will also increase.
When Jiaoqiu activates his Ultimate, the battlefield transforms into an enormous yuanyang hot pot, compounding the effects of Ashen Roast for enemies already afflicted, in line with the current highest number of stacks. Alongside these two new characters, Huohuo and Sparkle will have their banners reprinted in the first half and second half of banners respectively.
Honkai: Star Rail’s March 7th Gets a New Outfit!
Excited for the Wardance celebration, March 7th takes on her journey as a swordmaster apprentice under Yunli and Yanqing, with a brand-new costume! Under this Path, March 7th designates a teammate as her Shifu and gives them a special beverage to increase their SPD.
Depending on her Shifu’s Path, her attacks gain additional effects. For example, Shifus on the Paths of Destruction, Erudition, or The Hunt can enhance specific attacks to deal Additional DMG, while those on the Paths of Nihility, Harmony, Preservation, or Abundance can increase the Toughness Reduction of specific attacks.
Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] Collaboration Announced!
Yes, you aren’t misreading it. Honkai: Star Rail will be collaborating with the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] anime! The collaboration is scheduled to be on the third quarter of 2025, with more information to be revealed at a later date.
