HoYoverse today announced during the Special Program that Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 2.5 update, titled “Flying Aureus Shot to Lupine Rue”, will arrive on September 10, 2024 on PlayStation 5. This update introduces three new characters and continues the Trailblaze Continuance quest of the Xianzhou Luofu.

Following a recent prison break in The Shackling Prison, the Cloud Knights have swiftly arrived to initiate rescue efforts. General Feixiao will personally lead her troops to capture the escaped Borisin criminals and secure the surface of the Luofu.
Meanwhile, General Jing Yuan will investigate the incident, while General Huaiyan will oversee the Luofu’s Six Commissions. As long-buried secrets within the Shackling Prison are revealed, this trailblazing silkpunk saga will race toward its climax.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.5 New Characters
Three new characters will be joining the Trailblazer in Version 2.5. First, we have Feixiao, the Merlin’s Claw of Xianzhou Yaoqing and one of the Seven Arbiter-Generals. In combat, Feixiao accumulates “Flying Aureus” with every few attacks.
When she uses her Ultimate, Feixiao consumes the Flying Aureus and carries out a series of powerful attacks on the enemy with her gunblades or battle-axe. These strikes reduce the enemy’s Toughness while bypassing their Weakness Type and enhance her Weakness Break Efficiency.
The second character is Lingsha, who works as a Cauldron Master. In battle, Lingsha can use her Skill to extend the skills of her incense beast, Fuyuan, allowing it to perform follow-up attacks. This attack not only deals damage to all enemies, but also dispels one debuff from allies and restores their HP as well.
When Lingsha uses her Ultimate, she deals damage to all enemies, heals all allies, and inflicts the Befog state, which increases Break damage on enemies. As a reliable Cauldron Master, Lingsha ensures her allies are well-protected.
And last but not least, we have Moze, the 4-star Shadow Guard of the Yaoqing. In battle, he marks a single enemy as the Prey and then enters the Departed state while the Prey is on the field.
After allies attack the Prey, Moze deals additional damage. Additionally, Moze’s Ultimate deals DMG to enemies and launches a follow-up attack. With his elusive tactics and deadly precision, Moze brings a new level of strategy and intrigue to the battlefield.
Feixiao will be featured in the first lineup of banners of Honkai: Star Rail, alongside Moze as a rate-up 4-star. Rerun banners for Robin, Kafka and Black Swan will also run at the same time. As for Lingsha, she’ll be in the second lineup of banners, alongside a rerun banner for Topaz & Numby.
