The definitive edition of Horizon Forbidden West or Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition is finally coming and is closer than it appears. Set for an October 6, 2023 launch, the game is already hitting store shelves early and players are noticing that the back cover mentions two discs.
The back cover also states that the game would require 125 GB of hard drive space to install. This comes as no surprise considering how massive Guerilla Games’ latest title is, including the Burning Shore expansion.
While the base game did see a PlayStation 4 launch, the DLC came as a PlayStation 5 exclusive. In the same vein as the latter, the Forbidden Horizon West: Complete Edition will be exclusive to the PlayStation 5.
Certainly having more discs than the average PlayStation 5 title, fans, however, welcome the Complete Edition’s two-disc offering. This comes as players will no longer need to download a massive update as soon as they boot up their game. Except, perhaps, newer patches for bug fixes and better stability should the game require them.
Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will sell for $59.99 and comes with the following in the package:
- Horizon Forbidden West for PS5
