Arc System Works has just revealed two new trailers for the upcoming Hunter x Hunter: Nen x Impact game. These include an opening movie and a new character trailer introducing Meruem, most powerful offspring of the Chimera Ant Queen.
Despite being a power-type character, Meruem possesses a variety of skills, including instant movement techniques and attacks using his strong tail reach, which allows him to initiate attacks under any circumstances. In the opening movie, we see a lot of iconic Hunter x Hunter characters, including Kilua, Gou, Hisoka, Kurapika, Criollo, and many more.
Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact is a new 2D fighting game by developer Eighting. Players will pick a 3-character team and duke it out with another individually. Only a single button is necessary to do rush combos, a way to alleviate the demand of complex inputs that are one of the barriers of fighting games. In a pinch, characters will grow stronger through Over Gear, making it possible to take revenge and turn the tides of battle.

The fighting game will be available on PlayStation 5 in 2024.
