INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road Gets 2025 Release Window

During Level-5 Vision 2024, the Japanese company revealed the release window for INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road. The soccer RPG is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in June 2025.

Inazuma Eleven is a multimedia franchise that includes anime, manga and soccer RPGs. The new title will be the first in the series to be available in multiple systems and will feature cross-save and cross-play between PlayStation, PC, Switch and Mobile.

In the new game, players get to experience the story of Destin Billows (Unmei Sasanami in Japanese). Due to certain circumstances, he gave up on playing soccer but he gets motivated once again thanks to a new sense of rivalry towards Harper Evans (Haru Endo) and his friends at school.

In the new INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road trailer, we get to see various aspects of the game. For instance, while the game’s demo showcased only the direct control over the characters, the final game will have a commander mode.

Using commander mode makes it play in a similar fashion to the DS titles with players not controlling characters directly. Instead, they will act automatically through AI, with players giving them commands.

The video also shows some of the game’s evolution systems and the alternate modes besides Story. In Chronicle Mode, we’ll have the chance to relive competitions from other Inazuma Eleven games.

Meanwhile, Victory Road Tournament offers online tournaments that will restart over time. It’ll also be possible to make your own avatar and explore town in Bond Town Mode, enjoying matches and minigames.
