Half of 2024 has now come and gone, and I presume that most people are now entering their long-awaited summer vacation. And indeed, there are many releases in this month of July, but we’ve selected ten of them so you can decide your next gaming session this summer.

Final Fantasy XIV Online: Dawntrail

Release date: July 2, 2024

The seventh major update to the Final Fantasy XIV Online MMO from Square Enix is finally releasing on July 2nd.

The Warrior of Light will be joining a new ally, Wuk Lamat, as they sail to the continent of Tural where a new ruler will be decided in the upcoming Rite of Ascension. What sort of adventures await us beyond the sea? You can’t go wrong with a brand-new expansion.

Zenless Zone Zero

After being in development for several years, we finally got the release date for HoYoverse’s latest ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero. In this title, which is set in a post-apocalyptic world, players assume the role of a Proxy and explore menacing Hollows.

The game will be offering generous in-game rewards including up to 1600 Polychromes, 70 Master Tapes, 20 Encrypted Master Tapes, and 80 Boopons, so players can enjoy their adventure in New Eridu.

Trails through Daybreak

It won’t be long before we can officially experience the latest game in Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes series in English.

Darkest Dungeon II

Darkest Dungeon II will take players on a roguelike road trip of the damned. Form a party, equip your stagecoach, and set off across the decaying landscape on a last gasp quest to avert the apocalypse. Be aware though, for this game will challenge your strategies… and your endurance.

Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep The Board!

How about a nice board game to spend the summer with? SEGA of America has got you covered with the release of Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Sweep The Board. Players must advance on the game board by rolling the dice, which switches between day and night.

During the day, prepare for the night with events and minigames. And at night, you will search for demons to defeat. Aim to become the strongest Demon-Slayer swordsman. You can choose from various characters from the Demon Slayer Corps., including Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and the Hashira.

Bo: Path of the Teal Lotus
