Publisher CFK announced that they’ll be releasing the Frontier Aja-developed Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony on PlayStation 5. The release date is scheduled for August 8, 2024.
Originally released in July 2022 on PC via Steam, Koumajou Remilia: Scarlet Symphony is an HD remaster of Koumajou Densetsu: Scarlet Symphony, an action-adventure Touhou Project fangame from 2009.
This is an enhanced version of the original game that supports HD remastered graphics and a variety of bonus features. The game supports 6 languages, including English, and features full Japanese voice acting, something the original did not have.
Players take on the role of Reimu Hakurei and set out to find the true cause of the Scarlet Mist, a sudden phenomenon that affects Gensokyo. On the way to the Scarlet Devil Mansion, players will interact with various Touhou characters in a number of intense bullet hell battles.
