Dragami Games have recently unveiled the first trailer for the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP game. The trailer also finally reveals a release date for PlayStation 5, being September 25, 2024.
The game will support both Japanese and English voice options, and English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Traditional Chinese text options.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is a remake of the original Lollipop Chainsaw, originally released in 2012. This is a definitive version of the game which leaves the story unchanged, with the focus on quality-of-life improvements and additional gameplay content.
Some of the quality of life improvements include a higher resolution and several improvements to Chainsaw Blaster action and a more lenient timing for Combo Actions. Furthermore, the game also adds a new RePOP mode, which includes unique new chainsaws with distinctly different features.
