NetEase Games has announced that Marvel Rivals is coming to PlayStation 5. It’ll also have a closed beta in July 2024 to allow players to test it ahead of time.
Marvel Rivals is a team-based PVP shooter with various Marvel characters. The new video also reveals two new characters for the roster: Venom and Adam Warlock.
Playable options can be vanguards, duelists or strategists. Each of those roles define the inclination they have in battle with their super powers, but there should also be enough variation within the roles according to individual quirks.
According to a PS.Blog post, depending on the combinations, some characters can get further enhanced by other allies. Players may also break down the environment to open shortcuts or make buildings collapse on enemies.
