X-Men Children of the Atom is an arcade fighter from 1994. It ran on CP System II, the same one Capcom used for Super Street Fighter II.
The list of playable X-Men included Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Iceman, Psylocke, and Colossus. However, players could also pick the villains Silver Samurai, Spiral, Omega Red, and Sentinel.
In the video we can see a bit of gameplay, concept art from the in-game museum, and a visible hitbox option for training mode.
Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics is coming to PS4 in 2024. It should also be possible to play it on PlayStation 5 through retrocompatibility.
