Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set for a major update on March 7, 2024, with an upcoming patch that will include the New Game+ mode and some cool new costumes.
Turning to X/Twitter, Insomniac Games announced that the comprehensive list of features that will be coming to the game will be revealed as we get close to the update’s launch date.
Originally slated for release in the latter part of 2023, the New Game+ mode was delayed as it and other features “require more testing to ensure the quality is up to our standards”.
Worthy of note is alongside the New Game+ mode, Audio Description was also delayed. As the name implies, Audio Description enables the descriptive narration of key visual elements.
Within the delay announcement, the studio shed light on the possibility of adding the capacity to “change the time of day, swap tendril colors, and replay missions”.
