Atlus has shared a new trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio during the Summer Game Fest 2024. The video showcases the archetypes, a central element of the game.
Coming from the big minds behind Persona 3, 4 and 5, Metaphor is a fantasy RPG. It mixes turn-based, action and life simulation elements to create a unique experience.
In the game, players control a young man from the Elda Tribe. During a dire crisis in the United Kingdom of Euchronia, with the line of royal succession at stake, he’ll have to join a kind of tournament.
Like Personas, Archetypes allow characters to summon powerful creatures and exploit enemies’ weaknesses. Every character can use their skills, making it a great way to adjust for combat.
