Capcom has shared a new trailer for Monster Hunter Stories. Though it’s called an “Overview Trailer”, the video focuses on story bits and special animations.
Monster Hunter Stories came out on 3DS in 2016. The remastered edition will be available on PlayStation 4, and other systems on June 14, 2024. The sequel, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, is also coming to PS4 on the same day.
Stories is a turn-based RPG spin-off subseries to the popular monster hunting game. Instead of the usual atmosphere, these games focus on a colorful experience aimed at kids who want to be friends with the monsters instead.
In the game, players control a young Rider. With a special crystal in hands, he has the chance to become friends with various monsters. However, he’ll have to deal with the Black Blight threatening the peace.
