Capcom has shared a new trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds. It showcases all of the weapon types and the new mechanic Focus Mode.
Wilds is the latest entry in the best-seller action game. The game promises to be “the pinnacle of excellence in hunting action gameplay” and seems to provide a vast world to explore.
The new game will feature 14 weapon types. Each of them had received a short trailer in the past few days, and the trailer compiles them into a single video.
The full list includes:
- Great Sword;
- Long Sword;
- Sword and Shield;
- Dual Blades;
- Hammer;
- Hunting Horn;
- Lance;
- Gunlance;
- Switch Axe;
- Charge Blade;
- Insect Glaive;
- Light Bowgun;
- Heavy Bowgun;
- Bow.
Besides covering the weapons, the video also presents the new mechanic Focus Mode at the very beginning. This system should become an important tool in Monster Hunter Wilds as it provides a way to check out weaknesses and wounds in the enemies.
Monster Hunter Wilds is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2025. Capcom has yet to announce a specific release date.
