The official Monster Hunter YouTube channel has released a new overview trailer for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds game, which is set to release on the PlayStation 5 in 2025.
The new trailer gives players a quick rundown on the basic mechanics of Monster Hunter Wilds, such as the Seikret and the Slinger, both of which are vital items for any Hunter in the wilds. The Seikret is a mount that you can ride for quicker travel speeds, and the Slinger can fire ammo you find in the overworld.
In Monster Hunter Wilds, you play as a Hunter that has been appointed to the Forbidden Lands Research Commission by the Guild, whose job is to discover this unexplored land, full of new faces to meet and monsters. Similar to past games of the Monster Hunter series, you’ll be able to create your own avatar.
For the first time ever, Monster Hunter Wilds will have fully voiced dialogue, and promises to deliver the most cinematic and immersive story in the series’s history, where story and gameplay are seamlessly connected.
