Insomniac Games and SONY have just officially released the Version 1.002.000 update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This new update adds the long awaited New Game+ mode, Mission Replay, the Time of Day option, and several new accessibility features.
In New Game+, players can go beyond the base game level cap, and unlock new symbiote suits, as well as upgrade their gadgets with exclusive Golden looks. In addition, completing the game’s story once again with this mode will grant a trophy.
Furthermore, missions can be replayed over and over now, and new features were added to the Photo Mode. Two new suits inspired by the Hellfire Gala designs were also added.
Next, new accessiblity features were implemented, including a narrator to describe key visuals and actions during cinematics, as well as closed captions for important in-game sounds during cinematics and some gameplay.
And lastly, but certainly not least, several bug fixes were implemented to address the freezing and crashing issues that may occur during cutscenes. You can view the full list of changes through the official patch notes on Insomiac Games’s website.
