Atlus West has just published a brand-new trailer for the upcoming Vanillaware-developed JRPG Unicorn Overlord. The trailer has Josef, the Holy Knight of the former Kingdom of Cornia, explain to Alain, the protagonist of the story what are the top things one must know about liberating the country.
The trailer explains the Quest System, as well as the general freedom that players have while progressing through the game. In addition, the trailer also gives players tips on how they can best proceed.
Unicorn Overlord is a tactical RPG that follows the story of the prince of Cornia, Alain. After General Valmore usurps the throne, he flees from home to keep the royal lineage alive.
However, the new overlord brings war to the whole continent. Now Alain must lead the Liberation Army to fight back and liberate the continent from Valmore’s ambition.
The game will be available worldwide on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on March 8, 2024. Besides the regular digital and physical versions, the game will have a limited edition with various bonuses.
One such extra item is a 16-bit arranged music album, and the new video gives us an early look at these retro-styled renditions of the game’s soundtrack. Two CDs will be available and this bonus will be available in the western limited edition as well.
