The latest entry in the Trails series, The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, is already almost upon us and Nippon Ichi Software America is already accepting pre-orders for the deluxe version of the game via Amazon.
The upcoming localization JRPG is the 11th entry in the franchise and is made by Nihom Falcon. The earliest official word about the game’s Western launch came in late September.
Getting more tangible content than the standard edition, the deluxe edition comes with a mini artbook and digital soundtrack. The package comes at a price of only $59.99. Though not the most complete as it lacks certain items included in the Collector’s Edition, this version is a perfect choice for those who could not afford to get the former’s premium pricing.
For reference, the Collector’s Edition comes with the following, on top of everything the Deluxe Edition has:
- Steelbook
- “Trails Uncovered” 240+ Page Art Book
- 1-Disc Digipack Soundtrack
- Collector’s Box with “Oct-Genesis” Outer Sleeve
- “Calvardian Cinema” Movie Poster Art Card Set
- “Arkride Solutions” Business Card Case
The latest entry in the popular JRPG, The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak picks up where The Legend of Heroes: Trails Into Reverie left off. It centers around the Republic of Calvard’s economic development following reparations brought about by the damage inflicted by the war with Erebonia. But with political reform and an influx of immigration becoming a growing concern, being a citizen of the republic has become a problem for the people on its own.
Amid the turmoil, a protagonist arises, taking on the role of a Spriggan. A job that entails multiple hats, Spriggan does many jobs for a living.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Switch in Summer 2024.
