Natsume has announced that Reel Fishing: Days of Summer will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this summer 2024.
Reel Fishing: Days of Summer will be the 16th installment in the long-running series. In it, players can catch over 40 species of fish from 14 different fishing locations and craft over 70 different kinds of tackle to lure the rarest of fish. Caught fish can be kept in a beautiful aquarium and new and exciting skills can be acquired by leveling up.
The Reel Fishing franchise was first released on PlayStation in North America in October 1997 and is included in PlayStation’s Greatest Hits collection, making it one of the console’s top-selling fishing games. Since then, Reel Fishing has launched on numerous consoles, including the PlayStation 4, and now it celebrates 25 years this year.
