Nippon Ichi Software (NIS) has announced on today’s issue of Weekly Famitsu that they will be launching the Rhapsody: 25th Anniversary Collection on August 29 in Japan for the retail price of ¥10,978. It is unknown whether this collection will come West.
This anniversary collection includes copies of the three games: Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess, and Rhapsody III: Memories of Marl Kingdom, as well as a set of original artwork reprints, an art book, the original soundtrack, all packed together into a neat special box.
In the West, the Rhapsody games are available via the Prinny Presents NIS Classics Volume 3 for the first game and the Rhapsody: Marl Kingdom Chronicles for the second and third games, the former of which never had a PlayStation release. We’ll keep you updated as more information comes.
