Sony has shared a new trailer for Rise of the Ronin, their upcoming Japanese period drama by Koei Tecmo. This time we get a closer look at the story elements and the factions fighting for supremacy.
Rise of the Ronin is an action RPG where players get to explore a 19th century Japan open world. As political turmoil threatens the stability of the country, three main factions fight for the right to rule.
The Sabaku are Tokugawa loyalists, the Tobaku are a Japanese anti-shogunate reformist group, and the Obei are western forces trying to end the country’s isolationist policies. Players will have to navigate through these groups.
