Konami has announced that Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked, which is a collection of classic games, will be remade using Limited Run Games’ Carbon Engine, and will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Unfortunately, a release date wasn’t announced, though we do have some information regarding the game itself.
Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-Sparked is a collection of three epic animalistic adventures: Rocket Knight Adventures, Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2 and Sparkster. These games have all been redone with the Carbon Engine, with an all-new animated intro from Studio Meala, a Rewind feature, a Boss Rush Mode and a Museum Mode featuring never-before-seen content.
The game will have a regular physical edition, as well as a Classic and Ultimate edition, with differing bonuses depending on which edition you purchase.
The Standard Edition contains a reversible cover and a mini-comic, the Classic Edition includes a physical CD soundtrack, a reversible poster and steelbook, and finally, the big Ultimate edition will include all the bonuses from the previously mentioned editions, alongside a certificate of authenticity, a collection of design documents, a full-sized comic and much more.
