Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The 24th creature to get a highlight is Cerberus, one of the oldest creatures in the series.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
In the new trailer, we get a closer look at Cerberus. This proud white lion of the Beast race was already part of the original edition.
Its weakness is Ice and it repels Fire, having a good alignment with it and Physical. The video shows Cerberus using physical and fire spells.
Among them, there’s a peculiar one in which Cerberus summons other creatures for a combined fire blast. Curiously, they are all part of the legend of Hercules’s twelve labors.

Tomorrow, Atlus should release vol. 025 of the daily demon videos. According to the silhouette, we’ll get a closer look at Hell Biker, one of the demons that was originally only available as DLC for the base game.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
