Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. This new video shows Vritra, a demon that was not part of the base game.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Vritra is a demon that was also part of previous games in the franchise. This current design comes from the Soul Hackers series.
In the video, we get to see it using the debuff Marakunda and the buff Concentrate. It has an alignment that improves Elec and Physical skills.
According to the silhouette, Vol. 032 of the Daily Demons video should feature Cleopatra. This is a DLC demon that was in the DLC for SMT V and will be part of Vengeance from the get-go.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
