Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. In the new video, we get a closer look at Cleopatra, one of the creatures that were originally exclusive to the DLC.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Cleopatra is one of the demons that was originally part of the DLC content for Shin Megami Tensei V. Now it’s part of the base game in Vengeance.
In the video, we get to see her using a Light Alignment skill and an Ailment one. For the former, she uses Hamabarion, a skill with insta-kill chance. Meanwhile the Ailment skill is Frolic, which has a chance to cause charm to all foes.
The silhouette in the video hints at Gogmagog, a Jirae that has appeared in multiple games of the series. It was not part of base SMT V.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
