Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. This time we get a closer look at Angel, a demon that changed visuals in SMT V.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Angel is a recurring demon in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Ever since the PlayStation release of Shin Megami Tensei II, the series has often presented them as blond-haired winged women, but SMT V offers a new redesign.
Healing and buff skills are part of the new video. Angel has a special affinity with the former, giving Humble Blessing a +2 bonus.
The silhoutte for tomorrow’s video points to Anansi’s reveal. This is a new demon with origins in Western African Mythology.
