Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. This time we get a look at Bishamonten, a recurring creature that was already part of base SMT V.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Bishamonten is a classic demon and was already part of the original Shin Megami Tensei V. It’s weak to ice and nulls fire and light skills.
The video shows it using physical and physical skills. In both cases, Bishamonten gets a +5 bonus in their execution, making them stronger.
The silhouette at the end points to Zhu Tun She as the next demon. This creature was not part of SMT V, with its last appearance in the series in Soul Hackers 2.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
