ATLUS has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. Tzitzimitl is the new highlight.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Tzitzimitl is a recurring demon in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. It was not part of the original release, making it one of the new additions to the Vengeance edition.
The video shows it using ailment, dark and ice skills. Its Mudobarion has a +4 bonus while its Bufubarion has +3, meaning the character has a good alignment with the latter two elements.
The silhouette at the end of the video points to Onyankopon as the next creature. This is a brand new demon with Ashanti origins.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
