ATLUS has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. Halphas is the latest creature to get the spotlight.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Halphas is a new addition to Vengeance when we compare it to the original Shin Megami Tensei V. The original Soul Hackers was the first game to feature it, with the recent Soul Hackers 2 as its latest apparition.
Halphas has an affinity with Ailment and Wind skills. We get to see it using Marin Karin+2 and Mazan+2 in the video.
The silhouette at the end seems to be for Mother Harlot, one of the creatures added to the original Shin Megami Tensei V through DLC. It’ll be part of the base edition for Vengeance.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
