ATLUS has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance. Today’s video focuses on Scatach.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
Scatach is an Irish mythology creature. It first appeared in Devil Summoner and was part of multiple titles in the franchise afterward.
In the video, we get to see it using a Force skill along with Cu Chulainn. This is one of the special combination skills in Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance.
Going by the silhouette at the end, the next demon should be Cu Chulainn. This creature was already part of the original SMTV.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
