Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. This time we see Muu Shuwuu, a common demon who was already available on the base game.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
In the new video, we get a closer look at Muu Shuwuu. This female demon is a traditional creature in the series, appearing in multiple mainline and spin-off titles.
Curiously, this is one of the demons whose name changed in SMT V. Her previous name was Moh Shuvuu. The video showcases her Force and Almighty skills.
At the end of the video, we can see a silhouette for Vol.019 demon. It looks like Saturnus, who’s also available on Soul Hackers and Soul Hackers 2. If that’s the case, Vengeance would be the first mainline title to feature it.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
