Atlus has shared a new daily demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. The highlight this time is Saturnus, a newcomer to the mainline titles.
Vengeance is a new version of the latest mainline entry in the turn-based RPG series. Besides coming to PS4 and PS5 for the first time, it adds various elements and tweaks, such as the new “Vengeance” story route.
The player assumes the role of a young boy whose daily life is suddenly changed. Now in another world, he’s an easy prey for demons and ends up fusing with a mysterious individual to survive.
The result is that our protagonist becomes a half-human, half-demon called the Nahobino. Now he’ll have to look for a way back home and will end up figuring more about the truth behind everything.
In the new video, we get a closer look at Saturnus. This creature was part of multiple spin-off games, such as Persona 3, Persona 4, and Soul Hackers 2.
As its body clearly conveys, Saturnus has a Fire alignment by default. An area-wide skill with strong flames is part of the new video:
The silhouette for tomorrow’s demon looks like Mephisto, a level 79 demon from the Tyrant group. It was already available in Shin Megami Tensei V.
Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance comes to PS4 and PS5 on June 14, 2024.
