Developer Firaxis Games announced the release date for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII. The game will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 11, 2025.
This announcement comes after the Gamescom Night Live and was later accompanied by a full gameplay showcase that lasted around 25 minutes. This game is changing the formula by allowing players to mix and match certain civilizations with historical leaders. Allowing a more nuanced game for players to sink their teeth into.
About Sid Meier’s Civilization VII
The Civilization series takes the ideas of board games like risk and takes players through history as they guide their civilization from the stone age to the far flung future. Players will choose a historical figure with unqiue buffs to slowly take over the map through either conquest, religion, or economic domination.
