During yesterday’s State of Play broadcast, Konami revealed the long awaited date for Silent Hill 2 Remake in a new trailer, showing that the title will release on October 8, 2024 on PlayStation 5.
This trailer shows off the iconic scene where James meets Angela in the graveyard cut between gameplay showing off the new combat system. Furthermore, while not stated during the trailer, Konami later verified during their Silent Hill Transmission stream that the game was available to pre-order as soon as the stream ended.
Silent Hill 2 is a legendary horror game that defined the series even outside of the game as certain aspects of the title flowed into the movies, books and other games. The original released on the Playstation 2 to critical acclaim and later rereleased on the PlayStation 3 system.
