Bokeh Game Studio have revealed several new screenshots for their action-adventure game Slitterhead, revealing three new characters, the Echoes of Love Society stage, and several combat-related aspects ahead of its November 8, 2024 release date.
Meet the New Characters
- Doni: An ordinary high school student who is far from cheerful, but not exactly lonely either. He grew up in a relatively wealthy family and maintains a certain distance with friends and teachers. He often visits the arcade in the bustling shopping district. In combat, Doni can form a spear of blood that can pierce any foe, which can be charged by holding the button, and while holding down and enduring enemy attacks, he unleashes accumulated damage as a shockwave.
- Tri: A housekeeper who came to Kowlong for work from abroad. She excels at all household chores, especially cooking. With keen intuition, she claims to have a talent for noticing subtle discrepancies in people’s behavior, allowing her to learn hidden secrets. Tri consumes blood to create a shrub-like object, which will automatically attack nearby enemies, drawing their attention.
- Yin Yue: One of the leaders of the “Echoes of Love Society”. He oversees the members in place of the “Master”, who is ill and unable to move around. He is held in high respect within the organization, while also being a master of martial arts.
New Stage: Echoes of Love Society
The headquarters of this newly founded organization, constructed in the mountains to evade attention. Its members consist undocumented immigrants as well as financially disadvantaged individuals. They have gathered under the leadership of its “Master” to live together in a communal setting.
About Slitterhead
Slitterhead takes place in the densely cluttered streets of Kowlong, filled with obscurity and chaos. Players take control of Hyoki, an entity devoid of memory and physical form. His only motive is to eradicate the monstrous beings known as Slitterheads crawling around the city, disguising themselves as humans.
Roaming the vibrant neon-lit cityscape, players must seek out allies among humans known as Rarities, infiltrate and track dangerous organizations, and engage in battles harnessing the power of blood. As the suspenseful drama unfolds, players will delve into the mystery behind Hyoki’s existence and the appearance of the Slitterheads.
