Red Art Games has just announced that they’ll be publishing the SUCCESS Corporation-developed Sonic Wings Reunion on western territories. The game will have a physical release in Europe, with pre-orders planned to start on May 27th. Further details about the contents will also be posted on that date.
The western version will be released on October 2025. Although, the Japanese release will be coming earlier in May, and will feature support for multiple languages, such as English, French. German, Portuguese, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Sonic Wings Reunion is the first Aero Fighters game in over 26 years, with the original staff members from the series involved in its planning and production, such as Shinya Nagatomo (Cotton Rock’n’Roll), character designs by Fumihiko Nantoka (Sonic Wings series) and sound design by Soshi Hosoi (Sonic Wings series).
This all-new installment in the classic vertical-scrolling shoot ’em up series is designed for all fans of the genre to enjoy. Choose from eight popular characters from the series, including Mao Mao and Hien, as you aim to clear eight stages set in real-life cities. The game allows you to select your difficulty at the start and also includes local two-player cooperative play.
