SEGA has announced Sonic x Shadow Generations during the State of Play on January 31, 2024. The game is a new edition of Sonic Generations with a brand new Shadow campaign.
Sonic Generations is a PS3 game that aimed to celebrate the series’ 20th anniversary. The concept of the game revolved around having side-scroller and 3D platforming stages.
The new edition will feature remastered visuals and bonus content. However, the big novelty of this edition is a brand new Shadow campaign exploring skills and abilities that haven’t been in previous games.

Sonic x Shadow Generations is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in Autumn 2024. A specific release date has yet to be announced.
