During the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) held in Las Vegas last week, Sony showcased its commercial collection of covers for both the DualSense controller and the PlayStation 5 Slim.
Dubbed the Deep Earth Collection, the covers are available in three variations—Cobalt Blue, Volcanic Red, and Sterling Silver—each coming with its “smooth metallic finish”.
Originally announced for the seminal PS5 console and DualSense controller in September last year, a follow-up announcement was also made for the Slim model in October 2023, coinciding with its official reveal.
At the time of the announcement, Sony mentioned that an “all-matte Black colorway” would also be available as an option in addition to the Deep Earth Collection as mentioned.
As for the pricing, each cover “will start at 54.99 USD | 54.99 EURO | 44.99 GBP | 7,480 JPY.”
Sony is also promising the further addition of different color variations “in the future”.
