Astrolabe Games has announced the release date for Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog. The upcoming text adventure game is coming to PlayStation 4 and 5 on February 20, 2025.
Besides the release date, the company has revealed that the game will have a “vivid mode”. By picking it, players will be able to change the green monochrome tone to full color.
Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog is a text adventure inspired by PC-9800 classics. The game puts players on the role of a young officer at a Jovian ship en route to investigate mysterious signals.
As the crew gets closer to their destination and learn more about what’s going on, it’ll be important to make bonds with them and solve conflicts. A demo is already available to get a taste of the game, and has just received an update to showcase vivid mode.
